Kate Borger
Known for writing and playing the music behind the Peanuts cartoons back in the 1960’s, Guaraldi was also an innovator with afro-cuban rhythms in jazz, working with the likes of vibraphonist Cal Trader and Brazilian guitarist Bola Sete.
Before meeting Charlie Brown, Vince Guaraldi had already had a certified radio hit and won a Grammy award for his tune, Cast Your Fate to the Wind.
