As the Monterey Jazz Festival celebrates its 66th anniversary, Tim Jackson, the artistic director for more than 30 years, has announced his retirement.

MCG Jazz Spotlight show host, Marty Ashby speaks with his longtime friend and colleague about his history, taking over Monterey Jazz Festival from its founder Jimmy Lyons, Tim's favorite festival moments, and what his next endeavor will be.
