WZUM 88.1 FM from Bethany, West Virginia back on the air at full rated power, just in time for a very busy summer of jazz! The Jazz Central Calendar is now regularly showing more than 200 live jazz events each month in our region.

At this very good inflection point, WZUM is facing new challenges. The repairs to 88.1 FM cost about $20,000 dollars. WZUM now has the dual challenge of restoring our reserves and covering our operating costs.

Please help if you can with a donation, now!

WZUM is a radio and online catalyst for renewed interest and exposure to this great music. That includes the Jazz Central calendar, plus programs like The Scene, the Pittsburgh Show and the MCG Jazz Spotlight.

Make a gift to WZUM to help us continue and improve during these challenging times as we look forward to a great future for jazz and our community.

RECURRING GIFTS

A membership in WZUM can fit into just about anyone’s budget. One of the easiest ways is to make a RECURRING, Sustaining Gift of a monthly, recurring, amount that can be automatically deducted from your credit or debit card until you tell us to stop. There’s an option for monthly, recurring, sustaining gifts on the website, or just inform our operator you’d like to make a sustaining gift.

Your monthly, recurring gift of $10, $20, $50 or more can build up to a great ongoing foundation for supporting the Pittsburgh Jazz Channel. The annual total gift also qualifies you for any thank-you gifts that your donation would entitle you to, too!

Make a Challenge

We also suggest a “Challenge” gift, one which can be either a conditional gift or an additional gift, based on matching a fundraising goal met by others. Challenges by ongoing supporters like you can generate more financial support by helping prompt other, first-time contributors to follow year lead and support WZUM.
