The Adam Lee-Morgan Jazz Orchestra presents Ellington & Strayhorn’s “Nutcracker Suite," In the Music Hall of the Carnegie in Carnegie.
A one-night-only event will showcase jazz legend Duke Ellington and Pittsburgh artist Billy Strayhorn’s 1960 interpretation of “The Nutcracker.” The Adam Lee-Morgan Jazz Orchestra, a 17-piece big band, will take the Music Hall stage at 7:00 PM bringing this iconic holiday classic to life. The performance will feature not only the music but also fascinating stories and commentary about the creation of the work and its deep Pittsburgh roots.

Delana Flowers portrays Dinah, reprising her role from the hit 2024 production Dinah: A Musical Revue, accompanied by some of Pittsburgh’s top musicians.
