Lynn Speakman (alto saxophone/flute) has been a performer, composer, arranger, copyist, and music educator for the past 20 years. Her career has given her the opportunity to perform with bands such as the Christian McBride Big Band, Gerald Wilson and His Orchestra, Vanguard Jazz Orchestra, and Wycliffe Gordon Big Band as well as her own small groups.

For their JazzLive performance this summer, the Lynn Speakman Quintet will feature music played by the Julian "Cannonball" Adderley Quintet.
