Tania Grubbs has been singing as long as she can remember, in many different venues and genres. She is a graduate of Youngstown State University. While a student there, she gravitated toward singing and learning about jazz starting with the classic American Songbook. Whenever possible, she would sing at jazz sessions and it was a little over 20 years ago at one of those jazz sessions, that she met her husband—bassist, Jeff Grubbs. These days you will most likely hear them together performing as the Tania & Jeff Grubbs Quartet.
