The Music of Henry Mancini - Monday August 17th, 5pm to 6:30pm
The Songs of Pittsburgh is a brief journey into the music played and composed by Pittsburghers that has stretched across the world. Some have become jazz standards, passed down to musicians for decades. Their music has also been used in films, stage productions, videos, and samples. Several artists will be covered through many years with various genre and styles being used for performance.
There will be 7 ninety-minute shows covering a twelve-week period. One performance every other Friday from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm. The concerts will be 'Live Streamed' on my Facebook Live and my Instagram pages. Here are the dates and musicians to be covered for the 'Live Streaming' Concert Series:
