Open Improvisation Lab at Kingfly Spirits, curated by pianist Mark Micchelli & bassist, Eli Namay

People are encouraged to bring an instrument, sing, dance, recite poetry, or otherwise creatively contribute to a night of freely improvised music.

This month the Else Collective will be opening things up.

Set 2: Open Improvisation Lab – a series of improvised performances by members of the public – open to anyone to join

This is part of a monthly improvisation series every 4th Sunday at Kingfly.

It's also open to the public for impromptu improvisation sessions after the featured acts.

Kingfly’s Artist Collective Market is a space for artistic expression, showcasing and collaboration. Creativity comes in many forms and the vision is to provide a space to cultivate that creativity, whether it’s beekeeping, painting, hat making, sculpting, flower pressing or photography. Artists can gather, show and sell their art, while sharing a community to network, mentor and learn.
