Dixie Doc and the Pittsburgh Dixieland All Stars are inaugurating an event, JAZZ AT THE UNION GRILL.
A JAZZ PARTY.

Doors open at 6:30 PM. Playing Dixieland, Trad Jazz from 7:30-9:30. The band includes: Ron Bickel keys, Jeff Bush bone, Hal Weiss trumpet, Denny Kurzawski clarinet, Dixie Doc on cornet, Dave Bateman bass and Art Crivella percussion. Linda Nehrer on vocals

The 2nd set will be a “controlled jam” (i.e. "limited to the Dixieland repertoire"). Charts will be available.

The UG kitchen is closed. Beer, wine and small snacks will be available. Cover $10, students $5. Profits from drinks and the cover will be divided equally among the band.

The hope is to continue this event on the 1st Tuesdays of each month.
