Wheeling Jazz Trio - Jazz at the Stifel - at Oglebay, Wheeling
Luke Mazure, Jonah Henthorne and Robert Irvin— grew up in Wheeling playing jazz together at Wheeling Park High School. They play different styles of jazz, from standards to fusion/new age compositions.
Luke Mazure is a multi-instrumentalist specializing in woodwinds pursuing a degree in music education at West Virginia University. A Wheeling native, he enjoys playing gigs in the area and being a part of the community.
Jonah Henthorne hails from Wheeling and studies music education at WVU, focusing on Drumset and Percussion.
Robert Irvin is a pianist/composer/arranger currently residing in Ithaca, NY. Robert began his musical journey at the age of 6 taking piano lessons. Ultimately, his passion for improvisation, musical theater, and songs from the Great American Songbook solidified his passion for Jazz.
Jazz at the Stifel features some of the region’s top jazz artists with crowd-pleasing performances taking place in the intimate splendor of one of Wheeling’s grand historic properties. Each show offers a selection of desserts and wines that are available for purchase. Guests can also view the art on display in the gallery.
