experimental progressive-jazz fusion from Chicago
SONS OF RA https://sonsofra.bandcamp.com/
Two decades have passed since Sons of Ra emerged onto Chicago's scene with their fusion of heavy prog and jazz. Initially a line-blurring experiment, the trio has proven that the itchings of jazz aficionados and progressive rock/metal purists can both enjoy the same musical relief.

didgeridoo and electronics from San Francisco
JOHN HARDIN https://johnhardin.bandcamp.com/
John Hardin lives Off-Grid deep in the forest in Northern California where he produces original music in a solar powered studio. He makes many of his own instruments from recycled materials and found objects. He seeks to transcend civilization through music, so he rejects musical traditions born of civilized culture and instead cultivates wild, feral, and untamed musical impulses.
