Journeys & Jazz Black History Celebration: In partnership with the Pitt Library Systems and Pitt Jazz

Join librarians from the Pitt Library System as they discuss the acquisition of the papers of Ahmad Jamal; jazz pianist, composer, bandleader, educator, and Pittsburgh native. This discussion will include a sneak peek into the ongoing process of organizing Jamal's materials, and attendees will be able to view a selection of these newly acquired items.

Following the discussion, enjoy live music from the Cliff Barnes Organ Quartet and light refreshments. Both events are free and open to the public!
