In 2020, MCG Jazz received an archives collection from influential musician and arranger, Tony Monte from Susan Catalano. Monte was heard on recordings and on radio and television in New York and around the world, including close association with Tony Bennett, Johnny Hartman and radio host/singer Jonathan Schwartz.
This week on the MCG Jazz Spotlight show, host Marty Ashby is sharing rare gems from the collection with the help of a few of Tony Monte’s close friends including Nick Catalano.
