Darden Purcell is a vocalist and jazz educator who teaches around the DC area - and is married to Pittsburgh native, educator and guitarist Shawn Purcell - Darden has a new release out - and they’ll both be back in Pittsburgh on November 24 at Con Alma.
The Highmark Blues and Heritage Festival comes to the August Wilson African American Cultural Center Friday and Saturday, November 3 and 4. One of the headliners is Latin jazz legend Pete Escovedo.
