Bassist Richie Goods and trombonist Emmett Goods are brothers. They came up through Pittsburgh’s jazz and music culture - but moved away years ago. They return for a double-bill performance Friday August 4th at the South Park Amphitheater collaboration with MCG Jazz.
We also share music from Rex Trimm and Betty Douglas as we mourn Betty’s passing, sounds from performers for this weekend’s concert at the Kelly / Strayhorn Theater, and a new release from Pittsburgh almost-native Allan Harris.
