This year’s event will feature keynote speaker, social justice writer/poet Robin Lynn Harris who tells stories that “…are intricately woven into the tapestry of history, culture, identity, spirituality, joy, grief and the ability to persevere in spite of what what trials may come.” She will be reading excerpts from Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s “Letter from a Birmingham Jail” and reflect through her own work what has changed and what hasn’t as a result of the Civil Rights Movement.
